DIY: the "puurfect" cat dress

The day began with me doing my own thing, surfing the net, stumbling upon street style blogs and I came upon this photo:
(My new favorite thing to do being, Google: couple street style)

First thought:
That dress.

So I did my research and came up with this.
All my hopes and dreams stitched up into this too good to be true cat dress. I had to have it. Even if the cats weren't identical. Even if the cats were pink. But the idea of the dress oh! I needed it.

So I made it.

You'll need:
1. A brush
2. A Cat Stamp (I made my own out of foam and double sided tape)
3. The perfect black dress
4. White paint (I used latex, since that's all I could find in the house, but fabric paint is preferable, I think.)
5. A cup of water

Start by applying the  paint unto the stamp. I use a brush because I don't want to get paint into the holes where his eyes should be. That'll be a mistake that's hard to fix. You'll be spending the day painting black everywhere the white paint exceeded.

Also, I watered the paint down slightly, because if it's thick some parts might dry before you've even stamped them.

Work your way down the dress. I did mine in a pattern like the original. However, if you would much rather stamp wherever you felt like it than go right ahead and do so! There are no rules.

Afterwards, you've got yourself a cat dress!

Wishlisting for the big 2-0!

Its coming!
December 3 is close and I'm going to be leaving my precious teen years behind.
*tear*
I will take what I can get though, the good and the bad. The good being: The Big Yearly Birthday Wishlist

P360+
This baby is available in any Nature Republic shop. I regularly visit the Filinvest Mall branch. I've tried the tester and fell in love immediately.

P700 per pot
Since shipping is the silent killer whenever anybody that wants to achieve pony hair, I did my research and found a legit distributor here in the Philippines. Head over to RainbowHead to get a pot. I'd love to try the following:
Atomic Turquoise
Enchanted Forest
Violet Night
Mystic Heather
Cadillac Pink

3. Face Sponge
P150-300
I know that PCX sells these things and so does Nature republic and I've been itching to try them out. I can't vector a sponge so a box will have to do.

P270+ (Christmas sale price!)
I think, almost all drugstores and department  stores are on sale with their Maybelline  products at the moment. Oh the beauty of having your birthday during the Christmas sale.

P138
My brown eye pencil has reached that point where it is literally smaller that my eye. That's how much I use it. Owning more than one would actually be great because I'd like to keep one in my bag and one at home. You can purchase this, again, in almost any drugstore or department store in the Philippines.

P140+
I love, love, love this conditioner. I think my Dove conditioner intake may actually rival my water intake.

P100
Again. A girl can never have too many conditioners and this pot of deep conditioner is surprisingly cheap for it's size, and in comparison to other brands.

8. Gold Hairpins
Okay, I used to buy my gold hairpins from Accessorize because the quality was great and the price pretty reasonable (P150) for 30 pins. But I think they have closed down because all three locations that I used to visit are closed! *sob* Now I'm desperately on the search for gold pins again. Nothing looks better than gold hair pins on pony hair. It's just so...magical.

9. Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream Chips
P100+
Bottom line is: I'm too stingy to spend that much on myself but I welcome anyone willing to do so. Hah.

10. UniSilver Super Small Silver Studs
P150
The only thing that has stopped me from spending for these is because I'll need to buy more than one pair. 2-3 to be exact. And than the price goes up. But If anyone wants to help out and get me at least 1 pair I'd be a VERY happy birthday girl.
(That's what you get for having 6 piercings)

Oh to dream.

hairVOLution

Hair update!

I messed around with my hair dye products this week.
My original hair color (of the week) was a faded bright blue, which is a rather washed out gray/blue-ish color. And then I applied some violet/lavender and more bright blue. The parts that are white-ish blond are the ones from long ago. I always miss those parts when I do my hair myself cause I can't see the back of my head.

This is my "about to do a new color" face:

And these are a few pictures of my "hairVOLution":

 New polishes!
1. This awesome gold glittered polish by ORLY
2. A sweet pale grey by O.P.I
3. And this glittery silver polish that dries, get this, MATTE! Ridiculous. Also by O.P.I.

Here are some flowers that I purchased. I went a little crazy in the craft supply shop. This isn't even half of what I bought.
